The SLC2.0 is the second generation of our Super Light Climber that also serves as an all rounder racer. This frame was made to take on the mountains with its super lightweight 780g frame and ensure every watt of power is efficiently transferred with its stiff ultra layup technology.

We designed the frame with power transfer in mind, with both asymmetric chainstays and an asymmetric bottom bracket making sure the drive side of the bike can handle the strongest of climbers.

What goes up must come down - and with a choice of direct mount rim brakes or flat mount disc brakes, you can descend with confidence on the SLC2.0.

Rim:

38mm , 50mm or 65mm tall filament-wound rim with 26mm external and 19mm internal rim width. Filament winding puts the carbon's strength where it's needed allowing crucial weight savings in non-essential areas.
Tubeless-ready hooked rim bead-seat supports tubeless tires from 23-45mm. Tested with Schwalbe Pro One, Continental GP5000 TL.
High-temperature resistant, high-friction braking surface on rim brake versions.

Spokes:

Carbon fibre spokes with excellent strength to weight ratio weighing 2.6g per spoke.
Aerodynamic profile for decreased air resistance.
Rear wheel : 2:1 spoke lacing on rear wheels. 21 spokes.
Front wheel : 2:1 spoke lacing on disc brake wheels, 21 spokes. Radial lacing on rim brake wheels, 16 spokes.

Hubs:

Bespoke engineered Winspace hubs.

All weights are supplied for fully built wheelsets consisting of rims, spokes, nipples, hubs, bearings and freehub assembly and are accurate to +/-3% .

Tire Compatibility

Compatible with regular clincher tires with innertubes.
Compatible with tubeless-ready tires from leading manufacturers.
When using tubeless tires do not exceed 100psi for riding. (Upto 120psi may be required to initially seat the tire) 100psi is plenty for road tubeless.
Tire pressures should decrease as sizes increase. EG: 30mm tire no more than 85psi, 35mm tire no more than 60psi, 40-45mm tire no more than 40psi.

Weight Limits

The system limit (Rider + bike + luggage, etc.) is 135kg. However, riders above 95kgs should regularly inspect their wheels or get a qualified bike mechanic to do so.

Disc Brake Fork Compatibility

In order to extract maximum performance out of our wheelset and get the most of the mechanical advantage that carbon spokes bring our HYPER wheels are designed with a rather large hub flange for the spokes. This is a common practice amongst many high performance wheelsets. However, it is recommended to check your front forks before ordering. Please make sure the inner face of your fork is flat and does not feature 'recessed dropouts' as in the left-most example below. Most forks on the market feature standard 'in-line' drop outs and we have tested our wheels with many forks, but it is impossible for us to test with every fork out there, so if you're unsure about this, please contact us for help.

Made for the Mess

With clearance for big, knobbly tires and chainstays specially-shaped for mud clearing, the G2 was made for mess. Sure, it feels just as at home rolling along nice, smooth roads, but you always get the feeling it just wants to be dirty.

Progressive Gravel Geometry

With a 70 degree headtube angle and a 68mm trail figure, the G2 is slack enough to feel stable going down the sketchiest of descents, but nimble enough to maneuver around roots and rocks on even the gnarliest of trails.

Simply Elegant

For the G2 we went back to basics with a BSA threaded bottom bracket. The thinking behind this was two-fold. First; gravel bikes get a fair share of abuse, and will probably need more regular maintenance than your regular road bike. A BSA bottom bracket makes this a whole lot easier for the home mechanic. Secondly, we know people will be taking their G2s on some pretty epic off-the-grid adventures. It will be a lot easier to source and replace a BSA bottom bracket in some back-alley bike shop than any press-fit solution, should the need arise..

Utilitarian Design

When drawing up the G2, we put function before form. A large main inner triangle with flat surfaces maximizes space for bike bags. A wide range of mounting points allow for mounting loads of water bottles, a top-tube feed bag, panniers, or even fenders.

Build it your way

With support for mechanical or electronic shifting, internal or external cable routing, the G2 is the DIY bike builder’s dream. Either rummage around in your parts-bin to build up a budget all-road bike, or slap on the latest and greatest groupset and build a cutting edge gravel racer. The choice is yours.
